About Us

Hi there! My name is Trevor Twinley and I am part of  this remarkable fellowship of believers known as LIBERTY CHURCH.

And so LIBERTY CHURCH was birthed in the autumn of 2007 in response to the Lord calling me to Pastor a work that would create an environment of love and faith where folk could grow and develop without all the trappings of religion and legalism that hinder and frustrate the believer’s walk with God.

I have been involved in Christian Ministry for over 30 years now and I have experienced many changes and shift of emphasis within the Body of Christ during this time, myself included.
But I am confident that the Lord is leading, guiding and directing us to create a Church that will not only meet the needs of the people but that will bring great glory to God.

Just a little bit about myself.

 I was married to Shirley, my wonderful wife, for 31 years.
Sadly, Shirley died  on 7th. September 2009, But we rejoice that she is now in the presence of her Lord & Saviour.

Between us we have four adult children and three gorgeous grand-children
We have lived in Torquay, South-Devon for the past 28 years and we are delighted that God allowed us to establish our lives and ministry here in such a beautiful area.

The main emphasis on our ministry is to teach and preach the full Gospel of Jesus Christ, including His unconditional love and grace based upon the uncompromising Word of God.
Our meetings are informal and friendly and are based around the teaching of the Word.
