Embassy Bible College - Bath.

It was great pleasure & privilege to be invited to speak and participate in a wonderful day of celebration with the teachers & Students of Embassy Bible College at Wick Court, near Bath on Saturday 5 June.

I was delighted to meet with so many of my friends and fellow ministers, many I had not seen for some years.
The highlight of the Day for me, was to meet up with a very dear friend & a great mentor to me, Alex Forbes - Dean of the College.
Alex was a great encouragement to Shirley & I in the early days of our ministry & provided plenty of opportunity for us to minister at the Embassy Bible School in Earls Court, back in the eighties.
The ministry has now relocated to Bath under the administration of another very dear friend, Ian Findlay.
Details of the College are available from Ian at :-
Embassy Bible College, PO Box4308, Bath. BA1 0LH.
Tel: 01225 807544.
Email: embassy@f2s.com

I also met for the first time another Teacher at the College, Bishop Tony Palmer.
Tony is a remarkable and gifted man & I was greatly impressed by his love and ministry. Do visit Tony's website www.thearkcommunity.org.

The day at Wick Court ended with a meal for 40+ people all seated around one enormous banquet table. The atmosphere was wonderful and the food was was delicious! A great day was had by all.

Love & Blessings,
Trevor.

Hidden Treasure.

Our subject this week was focussing on our heart and ensuring that we keep our hearts sensitive to God's Word.

Using Proverbs 23 v 7 as our anchor, we explored the fact that we need to guard whatever we allow into our hearts and thoughts and to keep ourselves focussed on living in the Spirit - not living in the flesh.

This is a continuation from our previous teaching "Worship Him".

For more details or to obtain your free CD please contact us on:-
07883 528 138.

Called to Worship

This week Trevor shared with the church how we are all called to worship the Lord  - in every circumstance and situation & reveals how we can be released from all worry or stress.
We shared how worship connects us directly to the throne of grace and establishes our relationship to God - Spirit to spirit.
This is a foundational teaching which enhances our relationship with the Lord and focuses all our attention on Him.

For further details or to order your CD copy of this teaching please contact us on:- 07883 528 138.

FAITH & HOPE.

Trevor's word this week was on the subject of Faith & Hope, revealing how Faith, Hope & Love work together to give us the confident assurance of our eternal salvation.

This was a repeat of the message spoken at Embassy Bible School in Bath last Thursday.

Copies of this message may be obtained on CD by contacting us at:-
trevor.twinley@live.co.uk
or on:- 07883 528 138.

Wisdom

This week Trevor spoke on the need to operate in Wisdom by allowing the Holy Spirit to lead, guide & direct us as we apply the Word of God to our lives.

This teaching revealed the difference between natural wisdom and the Wisdom that comes from God.& our need of this wisdom in order to live our lives in victory and fulfillment.

Copies of this teaching are available on CD by contacting us on 07883 528 138.
Or by e-mail to trevor.twinley@live.co.uk

For such a time as this!

Graham Haylock took the remarkable story from the Book of Esther to reveal how God can take us from humble beginnings and place us into positions of great authority and influence, granting us favour and protection.

Graham went onto show us that we are now also "royal" as we have been adopted into God's family, and that we now have royal status through Jesus.

He then went on to share that we are also valuable and precious and that we have been called into the Kingdom - "For such a time as this" !

This is a most encouraging teaching and will be made available on CD very soon.

Help for Malawi

As you may be aware, Liberty Church is committed to supporting local-based missions.
New Hope Ministries is one of our adopted missions which is headed by local couple, Roy & Shelly Maloney.

At a recent meeting with Roy & Shelly it was revealed that they are needing to finish the building of the purpose-built New Hope Centre in Mzuzu,Malawi.
They have done so well over the past few years to get this vision literally off the ground.

However, in order to complete the project successfully they need to raise more finance.
So we are putting this news item out for your prayerful consideration.

Any help, no matter how small, will make a big difference!

You may contact us here at Liberty Church or go direct to Roy & Shelly at newhopeministries@hotmail.co.uk     or by phone on: 01803 873421

The Believer's Authority #3- Love.

Trevor concluded his 3 part series on The Believer's Authority by outlining the truth that everything that Jesus did for us was anchored in Love.

Using the famous "Love Passage" from 1 Corinthians 13 we discovered that Love is the motivating force in which all our authority is based.

This teaching will help to inspire and encourage you to walk in your God-given authority on a daily basis and will help you to live the abundant life as promised to all believers.

The Believer's Authority - Compassion

This week Trevor continued his 3 part teaching on the Authority of the Believer, revealing the powerful results of moving in COMPASSION.
He went on to show the difference between compassion and emotion and how to operate from the Spirit and not the flesh.

Trevor also shares a short testimony of his caring role at home with his wife, and how he manages to survive on a daily basis by moving in compassion.

He then reveals how compassion will take authority in situation and circumstance and needs become met as a result, citing various examples of how Jesus was moved by compassion to meet the needs of the people in His ministry.

This teaching is now available on CD format as an individual teaching or as part of a 3-CD set. Details on Audio Teachings page.

Trevor introduced the series on THE BELIEVER'S AUTHORITY by outlining the need to have total trust and dependency on the Lord.

He also emphasised the faithfulness of God to His Son and to His Word, which is alive within us.

Revealing that our authority comes from our relationship with the Father, through the Son.

IT IS FINISHED!

It is finished!
This was the resounding statement that came forth during our Easter morning message, delivered to us through Graham Haylock.

Graham emphasised the fact that Jesus had accomplished ALL that the Father had required of Him in order to restore mankind back into right-relationship with God.

Graham then went on to show us that we have nothing to fear and everything to gain by coming into a living and personal relationship with God through the born-again experience

It is only by receiving and accepting Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour that we are assured of forgiveness of sins and eternal life.

Jesus is the answer - let Him answer all your issues today!!

(This teaching is now available to order on CD format.)

Easter - What's it all about?

Well, it's certainly not about the Easter bunnies or hot cross buns or chocolate Easter eggs, although these are the most common thoughts that spring to mind at the mention of Easter.

But what it's really all about is the remembrance and celebration of the greatest act of love ever bestowed upon mankind.
The death of God's Son, Jesus on a cruel wooden cross at Calvary approximately 2,000 years ago.
Not only did Jesus die for the sin of the whole world in order to bring forgiveness to all who believe in Him, but He also rose from the grave on the third day, overcoming death, hell and the devil on our behalf and He rose up triumphant and became the Saviour and Redeemer of all who would believe on His name.

This is why Easter is such a special celebration to the Born-Again Christian. It is the most significant event which is central to the Christian faith.

Without the sacrificial giving of Jesus' own life, not one of us could be saved or enter into eternal life and right-relationship with our loving heavenly Father.

So this Easter Sunday, remember what it's really all about and give some time to thank God for His most precious gift to man - JESUS!
